FAQ - HVAC

Enjoy peace of mind with coverage that starts right away:

  • Complete coverage from the day you purchase
  • Full parts and labor protection
  • Convenient in-home service included
  • Replacement if your product cannot be repaired

We’ve teamed up with Consumer Priority Service (CPS) to bring you trusted extended warranty options. Just add the CPS warranty at checkout on our product pages.

When you invest in a new product, you expect it to last for years—but most manufacturer warranties are short and designed to keep costs competitive. Unfortunately, many issues arise after that coverage ends. With an extended warranty, you won’t have to worry about who to call for service, whether the repair is reliable, or how to transport a large product for servicing.

As an Authorized Consumer Priority Service (CPS) dealer, we offer best-in-class protection that extends your coverage for up to 6 years from the date of purchase. CPS warranties provide comprehensive, hassle-free parts and labor coverage, ensuring long-term peace of mind.

Products with a full parts and labor warranty: You have until 90 days before the manufacturer’s warranty expires to purchase an extended warranty.

Products without a full parts and labor warranty: The extended warranty must be purchased at the time of sale.

Absolutely! Your Protection Plan continues all the way through your contract period. The only time it ends early is if your appliance is replaced.

This warranty does not cover damage of any kind, labor costs for removal or reinstallation, labor for unstacking units, or routine maintenance.

Yes, the warranty is transferable. Simply contact CPS at (800) 905-0443, and a customer service representative will assist you with the transfer. A $25 transfer fee applies.

There are no service fees with this warranty.

Your CPS plan goes beyond the standard manufacturer’s warranty, giving you extra peace of mind. Coverage includes:

  • Defects in materials or workmanship
  • Protection from dust, heat, and internal humidity
  • Power surge damage
  • On-Site Service

If your manufacturer’s warranty includes full parts and labor, the CPS warranty begins after that coverage ends.
If your manufacturer’s warranty covers parts only, CPS begins on day 31 from the date of purchase.
For HVAC systems, combined manufacturer and CPS coverage can extend up to 5 years.
