FAQ - HVAC

Enjoy worry-free protection that begins immediately:

  • Comprehensive coverage starting the day of purchase
  • Full parts and labor protection
  • Convenient in-home service included
  • Replacement if your product can’t be repaired

We’ve partnered with Consumer Priority Service (CPS) to offer reliable extended warranty options. Simply add a CPS warranty during checkout on any product page.

When you purchase a new product, you expect lasting performance—but most manufacturer warranties are limited, built to keep prices low. Unfortunately, many problems occur after that initial coverage expires. With an extended warranty, you’ll have peace of mind knowing exactly who to call, that your repairs are dependable, and that large items won’t need to be transported for service.

As an Authorized Consumer Priority Service (CPS) dealer, we provide industry-leading protection that extends your coverage for up to six years from the purchase date. CPS plans deliver comprehensive, worry-free parts and labor coverage, giving you lasting confidence and convenience.

Products with a full parts and labor warranty: You can buy an extended warranty anytime up to 90 days before the manufacturer’s warranty expires.

Products without a full parts and labor warranty: The extended warranty must be added at the time of purchase.

Yes, definitely! Your Protection Plan remains active for the full length of your contract. The only exception is if your appliance is replaced, then the plan concludes at that point.

This warranty excludes all types of damage, as well as labor costs for removal, reinstallation, unstacking units, or performing routine maintenance.

Yes, the warranty can be transferred. Just reach out to CPS at (800) 905-0443, and a representative will help you complete the transfer process. A $25 transfer fee will apply.

There are no additional service fees associated with this warranty.

The CPS plan enhances your coverage well beyond what the manufacturer’s warranty provides, giving you greater confidence and security. It covers:

  • Fast, professional in-home service
  • Issues caused by defects in materials or craftsmanship
  • Damage resulting from dust, heat, or internal moisture
  • Power surge–related failures

If your manufacturer’s warranty provides full parts and labor coverage, your CPS warranty will take effect once that coverage ends.
If the manufacturer’s warranty covers parts only, CPS protection starts on the 31st day after purchase.
For HVAC systems, the combined coverage from the manufacturer and CPS can last up to 5 years in total.
